Ms. Jones' English III Houses
You will be assigned to one of eight houses this year for English III. There will be instances where you will be changed to a different house depending on how I can best serve all of my students.

The 8 HOUSES are named for some of my favorite American authors:

House of Whitman (Walt Whitman)

House Appointments (these will rotate):
House Speaker - will speak for your house when your house has to present information.
House Librarian - will organize all handouts off any absent house members' desks, write the missing persons' names on the handouts, and place them in the appropriate folder in the make-up box.
House Secretary - will write down anything necessary for the Speaker to present to the class, either on paper or on a white board.
House Collector - will oversee all materials for the house-- making certain everyone has the handouts & materials needed to complete house assignments. This appointment will also collect all work from their house and turn it in to the designated area.
** If your house has fewer than 4 members, some appointments may be combined.

ALL HOUSE MEMBERS MUST CONTRIBUTE TO HOUSE DISCUSSIONS AND GROUP WORK.
