Content Objective: In my study of reading strategies and literary devices, I will be able to analyze a novel for the author's use of literary devices to develop theme.
Language Objective: I will show what I have learned by writing literary responses to reading.

Literary & Rhetorical Devices Reading Journal (will be double quiz grade) MUST do 3-4 per chapter!

Brief Discussion: Literary Devices
Read Chapter 1 and fill in Journal (3-4 entries)
Homework:
Read Chapter 2 and fill in Journal (at least 3-4)
